Finding Neverland

I went and saw this movie last night with Marcy for Valentines Day...I can never remember if "Valentines" should have an apostrophe or not, but I digress...the movie stars Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet...I have always liked Johnny Depp, and Kate Winslet is quickly becoming one of my favorite actresses, especially after her performance in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...again, I digress...this movie, Finding Neverland, is an absolute joy...it is the story of J. M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan...the movie is a beautiful look at the power of imagination...we are able to look into the mind of this creative genius as he writes and shows to others their innate imaginative abilities...I won't get into details about the movie; I'll let you see it for yourself...and do this - see it!...you will not regret it...you might cry - Marcy and I both did - but you will still be happy you saw this movie...

ok. i learned my lesson. i don't have anything malicious to say about anyone in this movie. and besides, it was amazing. its story made me like people again--i'm serious. and the kid who played "peter"? what a neat kid! loved this movie...2 thumbs up. and the rest of my fingers and all of my toes.

Marcy absolutely fell in love with Peter...made her itch to have kids even more intense...I'll have to give in before too long...

ya'll will have cute babies. :) and if i wasn't half-way across the country, i'd bug you till you let me babysit so i could have a valid excuse for reading "brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?" sweet book. and can you tell that i'm in the library NOT working hard enough on an ibs assignment (and no, that doesn't mean irritable bowel syndrome. thanks for playing)

This movie immediatly hit my top 5 movies! It was whimsicle (sp?), it was funny, it was deeply touching... Even if I wanted to blow the plot, I couldn't begin to truly describe it.
I'm with Matt, thumbs, fingers, and toes!!

Peace,
Kim
